The churches in our community are coming together for an evening of prayer, praise, and a time of fellowship in thanksgiving to God. 

We invite you and your family to this special service which will be held at 

Living Word Church, 1111 Kirby Rd., Taylor Lake Village, Sunday, Nov. 16 at 6pm. Childcare is available.

The holiday season is here, and with it comes a focus on family, traditions, social events, and cheer—all of which can cause difficult emotions to surface. 

Whether this is the first, second, or tenth holiday after your loved one’s death, the emotions that may arise in the days ahead can blindside you. 

Surviving the Holidays guides you through this holiday season. You’ll f ind support and direction to navigate the holidays in a healthy way with encouragement and helpful tips for the days ahead. These tools will help you not only to survive the coming holidays, but also face them with a measure of peace.

Join us Tuesday, Nov. 18 beginning with a lite meal at 6pm.

Our Men's Group will be going out to dinner on Thursday, Nov. 20, 6:30pm and wives (or +1) are invited. Meet at New Orleans Seafood Kitchen, 324 W Main St., LaPorte, TX 77571.

Living Word and Seabrook Rotary are combining efforts in our next Serve Event, Food & Clothes for Kids for Christmas.   

Sunday, November 30, after worship, we will assemble food gift bags for 180 families.

Saturday, December 6, we will do clothes shopping for 180 children.
