Living Word’s practices are the way we desire to live out our principles and achieve our purpose. We ask everyone who is part of Living Word to practice: “WORSHIP + 3” (Worship, Study, Serve, Share) PRAYER is an integral part, as we draw closer to God and each other in order to grow, transform and reach.
Partner with our Prayer Team
Living Word’s Prayer Team would love to partner with you in prayer in Worship on Sundays and online anytime. Join us for Prayer Nights on Thursdays from 6:00-7:00pm. For more information on being a part of the prayer team email prayer@LWCBA.org
Prayer Requests
Prayer requests are shared with our prayer team and in our weekly prayer and care weekly email to our members to mobilize God’s people in prayer. If marked “private,” prayers are kept confidential and not shared in the weekly email.
Prayer Nights-Thursdays, 6:00-7:00pm
Join us for a time of peaceful, contemplative prayer at Living Word Church & Community Center every Thursday from 6:00-7:00pm. This informal gathering is hosted by our prayer team for those desiring an opportunity to pray individually or with others. Prayer Team & Training
- Living Word’s Prayer Team recognizes the vital importance of prayer as it affects the life of our church family and community. The Prayer Team is to provide prayer and intercession over our church leaders, families, guests, community, finances, and to pray for the health and well-being of all persons who request prayer, as well as those whom the Lord lays on our hearts. When possible, we are to pray in-person with the laying on of hands, and in accordance with James 5:14-15, we are to anoint with oil as needed and as people may allow. We pray without ceasing in accordance with God’s Word.
- Training and classes for people who wish to develop their practice of prayer and/or serve on the prayer team are held on a regular basis. For more information on being a part of the prayer team and prayer team training please email prayer@LWCBA.org
